Counterfeit bills circulating in Grande Prairie

Mounties in Grande Prairie are issuing a warning of imitation currency making an appearance in the city.

Four counterfeit bills have been located, with the first discovered on Dec. 15, 2025.

The four bills were found at different locations; two at RBC, one at Servus Credit Union, and one at an A&W.

The bills contain the following serial numbers:

Grande Prairie RCMP is asking if anyone has any information regarding these counterfeit bills, to call Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701, or your local police.
