The Storm have now won nine in a row, and two in a row on their current road trip.

Grande Prairie beat the Grizzlys 3-2 Wednesday night in Olds.

The Storm scored two goals just over a minute apart early in the third period. Colin Doherty had what proved to be the game-winning goal.

The road trip continues Friday in Canmore. That game will start at 7 p.m.

NWJHL

Both road teams won Wednesday night in the Northwest Junior Hockey League.

Peace River beat Fairview 7-4. Beaverlodge over Dawson Creek 6-3.

NPHL

There is one game in the North Peace Hockey League tonight.

Spirit River in Fort St. John.
