Fort St. John RCMP investigating arson incident

Fort St. John RCMP are requesting the public’s help investigating an arson incident at the Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement building on Dec. 15, 2025.

At around 1:17 a.m., Mounties received a report of a structure fire, arriving to find the building engulfed in flames.

Mounties says they are aware of a lone suspect associated to a dark coloured pickup truck intentionally starting the blaze.

Fort St. John RCMP are now requesting anyone that has dash cam footage from the area at that time, or if they witnessed the incident to contact the detachment at 250-787-8100 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a tip online at https://www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca.
