Midget AAA Storm look to even series in Edmonton

The Grande Peace Ernies Sports Midget AAA Storm are back on the ice this evening as they hit the road to Edmonton for Game 2 of their best of five series with the SSAC Athletics.

In their first playoff game in 4 years Wednesday, the Storm dropped a 2-1 decision to the Athletics.

As a result, they trail the best of five series 1-0.

The Midget AAA Storm will look to try and generate more offence against Athletics goaltender Ryley Osland in Game 2.

The SSAC netminder allowed just the one goal early in the first period and made 30 saves in the Game 1 win.

Puck drop between the Storm and the Athletics is at 7:45 p.m.

The two clubs will then return to Grande Prairie Saturday for Game 3 which is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. at the Coca-Cola Centre.
