RCMP advise against travel on a stretch of Highway 35

High Level RCMP are “cautioning against travel on Highway 35 between High Level and Manning,” today, (Thursday, Dec. 25).

Mounties say weather has caused deteriorating road conditions on that stretch of the highway, with 511 Alberta reporting the road as covered with snow and ice, or plowed with some snow coverage.

Police add they are responding to multiple minor collisions along Highway 35 as well, due to poor road conditions.

Anyone traveling today is asked to check their route using 511 Alberta.
