4th Annual Noon Year’s Eve Party at GPPL

Dec 30, 2025 | 12:30 PM

The Grande Prairie Public Library is inviting all residents to join in on celebrating New Year’s Eve during the day time if you don’t want to stay up into the late hours to ring in 2026.

The 4th Annual Noon Year’s Eve Party will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Teresa Sargent Hall in the Montrose Cultural Centre.

The celebration will have a countdown to noon, New Year’s traditions from around the world, and the crowd-favourite balloon drop! Mask making, noisemakers, adding a wish to the wish wall, a dance floor, and more will be apart of the event.

This is a free and family-friendly event, with young children in mind to ensure everyone can participate in the festivities of ringing in the new year, without a midnight meltdown. No registration is required to attend.

The library will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Dec. 31.
