Up to 30 cm of snow expected

A snowfall warning has now replaced yesterday’s (Wednesday, Dec. 31) freezing rain warning.

Local amounts between 15 to 30 cm is expected.

Environment Canada says travel will most likely become challenging, and if you are on the road, make sure your lights are on and check for up-to-date road conditions on 511 Alberta.

According to 511 Alberta, all local highways are either fully or partly covered in snow. so residents are asked to use caution.
