Nominations open for 2026 Grande Prairie Sport Excellence Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Grande Prairie Sport Excellence Awards.

Residents are invited to submit achievements by amateur athletes, coaches, volunteers and more from the B.C. and N.W.T. borders to Fox Creek and Slave Lake.

The awards will be presented in late March, with 13 categories including Female Athlete of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, Team of the Year, Outstanding Official, and Unsung Hero.
