Registration now open for GPRSC’s Winter Try-It-Day

Grande Prairie Regional Sport Connection’s Winter Try it Day is next Saturday, (Jan. 17) and registration is now open.

This free event is open to youth aged 6-17 and will give them the opportunity to try out 26 different winter sports around Grande Prairie, with the hope that kids “discover a new passion.”

Anyone wanting to register can do so by visiting GPRSC’s website.

A full schedule of the event was also provided, to help youth better plan their day:

Seventeen different venues will host the annual event this year, including the Eastlink Centre, The Sand Zone, Grande Prairie Ninja Warrior and Nitehawk.

Residents are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible, as registration is first-come, first-serve.
