Storm line flushing in Maple Ridge and Taylor Estates

The County of Grande Prairie has resumed storm line flushing operations today (Tuesday, January 20).

After an initial delay, crews are flushing the line running between Maple Ridge and Taylor Estates in the area of Willow Grove Way and Alder Street.

The work is being done to remove sludge buildup and bad odours brought on by the recent freezing-thaw conditions.

While the work is taking place, residents may notice the odour for a limited time, and portions of the walking path and roadside may be blocked.
