Parking bans lifted for priority snow routes

The parking bans on permanent snow routes in Grande Prairie have been lifted.

As of 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, the bans are lifted for all permanent routes, including Priority 1 and 2 roads now that all windrows have been cleared away.

Snow clearing operations will continue throughout the city and crews remain focused on clearing residential areas and sanding priority roads to address icy conditions.

The City is thanking residents and visitors for their cooperation while the bans were in place.
