More delays on Highway 2 north of GP

Highway 2 north of Grande Prairie continues to see delays as crews work to recover a vehicle south of Rycroft near Township Road 780.

511 Alberta notes that during the recovery, there won’t be any passing on the highway as lanes will be closed, and speeds will be reduced.

Crews are expected to be on site until 5:30 p.m., and residents are asked to find an alternate route or expect delays.

Further south, a collision has closed the highway, causing delays south of the Township Road 744 intersection; Residents are asked to find an alternate route and Mounties say they will provide an update when the highway reopens or if more information becomes available.
