River Ice Advisory issued for Peace River at Dunvegan bridge

A River Ice Advisory has been issued for the Peace River at the Dunvegan bridge.
Alberta Environment and Protected Areas warn river levels have risen over the past 48 hours and are impacting a nearby roadway due to a newly formed ice cover.
The Municipal District of Fairview warns the ice cover may be unstable and could cause water levels to fluctuate rapidly, potentially resulting in local flooding.
Residents are advised to contact the MD if they have any concerns and to stay up to date with Rivers Alberta for more information.
