Ken Sargent House receives $1-Million CFEP Grant from Province
The Government of Alberta has made a significant donation towards building accommodations for hospital visitors.
The Ken Sargent House has been awarded a $1-million Community Facility Enhancement Program Large Stream matching grant from the province.
“This investment from the Government of Alberta is transformational for our project and for the families we serve,” said Sean Doerkson, CEO of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation. “The Ken Sargent House will ensure that people receiving medical care in our region have a safe, welcoming place to stay close to their loved ones. We are deeply grateful for this partnership and the province’s recognition of the impact this facility will have on northern Alberta.”
The CFEP Large Stream program supports infrastructure projects that strengthen communities across Alberta by enhancing public-use facilities and promoting long-term sustainability.
