NPHL, NWJHL playoffs update

There is one game in the North Peace Hockey League tonight (Tuesday, February 17) with Falher in Grande Prairie. The A’s lead the best-of-seven series 3-1.

Valleyview will be in Spirit River Wednesday. The Rangers lead 3-1.

The other two series ended on Saturday.

Manning won 8-3 in High Prairie to complete a four-game sweep.

Dawson Creek beat visiting Fort St. John 6-2 to win that series in five games.

All four of the Northwest Junior Hockey League’s opening round series have ended.

La Crete completed a three-game sweep over Sexsmith with a 6-1 win Friday in Sexsmith.

Fort St. John and Fairview went the distance, with Fort St. John winning 4-3 at home Saturday to take the series 3-2.

The Flyers had won 2-1 at home in overtime Friday night to force a deciding game.
