Peace Regional RCMP arrest suspect with help from community member
Peace Regional RCMP have recovered a stolen vehicle, thanks to the help of a Grimshaw community member.
Mounties were notified about a vehicle theft on Feb. 12, while it was parked outside of a business near 99 Ave in Peace River.
The next week, on Feb. 17, a community member noticed a suspicious vehicle in the back alley of a residence in Grimshaw and confronted the driver; the resident reported this to police, and Mounties confirmed it was the same stolen vehicle.
While responding to the call, the community member located the stolen vehicle again at a business near 54 Avenue, this time abandoned.
