Water advisory rescinded for Teepee Creek

A water advisory issued for the Hamlet of Teepee Creek has been rescinded.

On Tuesday, the County of Grande Prairie urged all residents to avoid drinking the community’s water due to high levels of the nutrient manganese.

Temporary repairs to the community’s water system are now complete, and residents are being told to flush their waterlines for a minimum of 20 minutes before cooking or drinking any water.

The county will inform residents when permanent repairs are complete
