Mainway Electrical Outdoor skating rink closed for season

The Mainway Electrical Outdoor skating rink in Grimshaw has officially closed for the season.

The Town of Grimshaw says with current temperatures, by the time the ice could be flooded and rebuilt, the weather would be warmer again.

The town is appreciative of everyone for their patience and says this winter proved unfavorable to maintain the outdoor rink. Officials thank everyone who came out to enjoy the ice while conditions allowed.

The Town hopes to reopen the outdoor rink next winter season.
