Hockey, ski hills this weekend

Storm

The Storm host Drayton Valley Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 6:00 p.m. to close out the regular season.

NWJHL

The Northwest Junior Hockey League final continues this weekend.

 La Crete will be in Fort St. John Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Lumber Barons lead the series 2-0.

Game times will be 8:00 p.m. B.C. time for the first two games, and 2:00 p.m. Sunday if Game 5 is needed.

NPHL

The North Peace Hockey League final starts Saturday.

Manning will be in Dawson Creek.

Face-off is at 8:30 p.m. B.C. time.

The Comets advanced to the final after a sweep of Grande Prairie in the semi-final round. The Canucks advanced after beating Spirit River in seven games in the other semi.

Ski Hills

Nitehawk ski hill is open from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Tube Zone is closed Friday, but will be open from noon to 2:00 p.m. and 2:30-4:30 Saturday and Sunday.

Whispering Pines Ski Hill, Spring Lake Ski Hill, Little Smoky Ski Area and Misery Mountain are all open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fairview Ski Hill is open from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
