Second overtime win at home for Storm

A second overtime win at home in as many nights has given the Grande Prairie Storm a 2-0 lead in their AJHL playoff series against Lloydminster.

A Will Harris goal at 9:45 of the first overtime period gave the Storm a 2-1 win over the Bobcats Saturday night. Grande Prairie also won 3-2 in overtime Friday night.

Harris also had the Storm’s other goal on the power play at 17:07 of the first period. Kade Fendelet scored for Lloydminster 50 seconds later.

Connor Frost assisted on both Grande Prairie goals.

The announced attendance Saturday was 2308.

The series will resume Tuesday in Lloydminster.
