County of Grande Prairie Council approves 2026-2030 Strategic Plan

The County of Grande Prairie has released their 2026-2030 Strategic Plan.

County Council has approved the plan to set clear directions for decision-making and investment, aligning with their long-term goals.

Key focus areas of the plan include quality of life, economy, transportation, and land use and management.

“This Strategic Plan reflects the values and priorities we heard from residents throughout our conversations in the community,” said Reeve Amanda McDonald. “It provides a clear roadmap for how we will support safe, connected communities, foster economic opportunity and take a disciplined, thoughtful approach to managing growth. Council is committed to delivering results that will strengthen the region for years to come.”
