Goldeneyes hold off Sceptres, snap two-game skid in 3-2 win
TORONTO — Izzy Daniel had a goal and an assist as the Vancouver Goldeneyes snapped a two-game skid with a 3-2 win over the Toronto Sceptres on Sunday in the Professional Women’s Hockey League.
Hannah Miller and Mannon McMahon also scored for Vancouver (7-1-4-11). Sarah Nurse had two assists.
Emerance Maschmeyer stopped 25 shots.
Blayre Turnbull scored twice for Toronto (8-1-5-10), while Elaine Chuli made 26 saves.
