Mom fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, at the age of 85 years.

She is survived by two sisters, Betty and Brenda; two daughters, Jolene and Wendy; and her son Glen. She has 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mom will join her husband, Vern; daughter, Tammy; and her parents in heaven.

Mom would make Christmas goodie baskets for the neighbours when someone needed it. She was a sewer, enjoyed making quilts, learning books, clothes, as well as knitting and crocheting. She was very talented and crafty in many areas. She was also an organist at church, and lent her talents to seniors centres.

Mom was a special person and touched many lives. She will be loved and missed by all.

Donations may be made in her memory to Central Okanagan Hospice House, Kelowna, BC.

Per her wishes, cremation followed by a private family interment will take place at Westbank Cemetery, West Kelowna, BC.
