Grande Prairie Rural RCMP renamed to Clairmont RCMP

Grande Prairie RCMP Rural Detachment has officially been renamed.

The newly titled Clairmont RCMP detachment will continue to provide policing services to the communities of Clairmont, Sexsmith, Grovedale, Bezanzon, Teepee Creek, Debolt, and Crooked Creek, as well as portions of the County of Grande Prairie and the MD of Greenview.

Residents in those communities should be aware that the detachment’s boundaries and all current phone numbers remain the same:

• 911 for emergencies
• 780-830-5112 requiring a policing response
• 780-830-5114 for the Clairmont Detachment administrative line

The Clairmont RCMP detachment can be found at suite 101 – 10605 West Side Drive in Grande Prairie.

The Clairmont Detachment is thanking the public for their understanding and cooperation and says there will not be any changes to service delivery because of the name change.
