Alberta RCMP MCU investigating Valleyview death

Alberta RCMP Major Crime Unit has taken carriage of a sudden death investigation in Valleyview.

Around 11:39 p.m. on Apr. 9, Valleyview RCMP received a report of a male lying in the streets near 3802 Highway Street.

EMS declared the male deceased, and investigators have secured the scene.

Mounties say suspicious injuries have been located on the deceased, and an autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death.

Alberta RCMP MCU and Valleyview RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Valleyview RCMP at 780-524-3345.
