Storm win pushes series with Wolverines to Game 7

Game 6 of the AJHL North finals ended with a victory on Sunday (April 12) for the Grande Prairie Storm.

The Storm beat the Whitecourt Wolverines 5-1 at Bonnetts Energy Centre in front of an audience of 3,159, bringing the series back to a tie of 3-3.

Storm Captain Colin Doherty was the Home Team Star of the Game, scoring a goal in the first period and adding two assists throughout. Other Storm goals came from Will Harris, Max Fogle, and two from Cole Penner.

Game 7 for the AJHL North finals is taking place Tuesday (April 14) at JDA Place in Whitecourt.

Whoever wins will face off with the Canmore Eagles in the AJHL Championship Final series.
