Highway 40 south of Grande Prairie closed after collision

UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP say they are on the scene of “a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 40, just north of Township Road 690.”

“A collision reconstructionist is en route, and traffic is being diverted around the collision.”

Mounties are asking drivers to avoid the area.

511 Alberta says Highway 40 south of Township Road 692, south of Grande Prairie, is closed because of what it calls a traffic incident.
