2026 Smile Cookies Campaign begins April 22

The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation is kicking off the 2026 Smile Cookies campaign Wednesday, April 22.

Volunteers with the Sargent Family Foundation and the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation will be gathering out front of the Tim Hortons at 9505 68 Avenue Wednesday morning before taking off 9:00 a.m. sharp to deliver over 20,000 cookies to local schools for kids K-12.

The campaign is raising funds for the Ken Sargent House, a place for medical patients and their families to stay while seeking treatment in Grande Prairie, set to open late 2026.

From April 27-May 3, 100 per cent of proceeds for the cookies will go to the Ken Sargent House, with $132,000 raised by the campaign in 2025.
