Potenial Measles exposure at GPRH ED

Residents who attended the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Emergency Department last week, may have been exposed to measles.

According to AHS, an individual with Measles was at the ED two days last week; Monday, April 20 from 1:21 p.m. until 10:44 p.m. and Wednesday, April 22, from 8:33 am to 1:40 pm.

Now, anyone who attended the ED during the exposure period and develops measles symptoms is asked to stay home and call the hotline at 1-844-944-3434.
