RCMP investigate armed robbery in Fox Creek

Fox Creek RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at a local gas station from earlier this month.

In the early hours of April 9, a man entered the Circle K while armed with a kitchen knife and bear spray, demanded the money in the till and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as:

  • Pale complexion
  • Average height
  • Wearing a grey Carrhart sweater, blue jeans, black Under Armour running shoes, black facemask and black gloves

Mounties note that, while the suspect fled, security footage shows a black truck leaving the scene, nearly colliding with a moving semi.

RCMP are asking for the public’s help identifying both the suspect and the driver of the black pickup; anyone with footage around 2:44 a.m. near the Circle K on April 9 is asked to contact the detachment at 780-622-3580 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
