Grande Prairie-raised pilot set to perform at home with the Snowbirds this summer

There will be some local flavour when the Canadian Forces Snowbirds perform at the Grande Prairie Regional Airshow this summer.

 The Snowbirds say in a social media post that Captain Iain Muir will fly the 7 Jet, the one on the Outer Left Wing of the formation.

 He first joined the Snowbirds in 2025. 

The post says Muir was born and raised in Grande Prairie and was a member of the Air Cadets.
