Alberta RCMP recognizing National Police Week

Alberta RCMP is recognizing May 10-16 as National Police Week.

The week serves as a seven-day public awareness campaign in partnership with the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police to encourage awareness and understanding between police and their communities.

For 2026, the theme of the campaign is “Committed to Serve Together” in acknowledgement of the partnerships that form the cornerstone of effective crime prevention.

As part of the campaign, RCMP detachments across Alberta will be hosting events and open houses to connect with community members and ensure everyone feels valued and protected.
