Snowfall warnings in place for Grande Cache, Hinton

Grande Cache, the Kakwa Wildland Provincial Park, and Willmore Wilderness Park are among several areas in Alberta with a snowfall warning in place.

The Hinton area and William A. Switzer Provincial Park are under similar warnings.

Environment Canada says 15 centimetres of snow is possible in areas along Highway 40.

The snow is expected to continue overnight Saturday.

The weather office says visibility will be reduced and drivers should watch for changing conditions.

The Nordegg and Canmore areas, along with Banff National Park, are also under snowfall warnings.

A special weather statement saying that snowfall may impact travel is also in place for Jasper National Park.
