Beaverlodge Emergency Department without a physician overnight

Alberta Health Services says the Emergency Department at the Beaverlodge Regional Hospital will be without a physician overnight.

The closure will start at 8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, May 20) and continue until 8 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, May 21).

Nursing staff are available to provide triage and assessments.

Patients cans till call 911 if they have a medical emergency, as EMS will be rerouted to other facilities.
