County releases 2025 Annual Report

The County of Grande Prairie has released its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting progress in key priorities like infrastructure and public safety.

“The past year was one of growth, collaboration, and progress,” says Reeve Amanda McDonald. “We have continued to focus on what matters most to residents, safe communities, strong infrastructure, and sustainable growth, while working together as a region to deliver results.”

Highlights from the report include:

• The population reached 26,701, an 11.8 per cent increase from 2021
• The investment of approximately $58.9 million in the county’s transportation network
• Over $10 million in grants and contributions to local organizations and regional partnerships
• County Council is balancing a $216.5 million budget, including a 2.4 per cent municipal tax rate increase
