Fight Back Now protests happening across Alberta Friday, including in Grande Prairie

Protests against the provincial government are being held in 16 communities across Alberta today, including Grande Prairie. 

The Fight Back Now protests are being held to rally against a long list of things, including separation, affordability, funding for schools and what organizers see as growing privatization of healthcare. 

The Grande Prairie protest will be held on the open space at the northwest corner of 100 Street and 116 Avenue from noon to 1 p.m. 

There are 21 different protests planned across Alberta. 

The Alberta Federation of Labour is one of the organizations involved in organizing the protests.
