Multiple lightning wildfires in GPFA over the weekend

The wildfire danger rating in the Grande Prairie Forest Area is Very High due to hot, dry, and windy conditions.
Over the weekend, Alberta Wildfire says they responded to multiple lightning caused fires, all of which have been extinguished or under control. None of these fires are threatening to any communities.
Since January 1, there have been 39 wildfires in the GPFA that have burned over 16 hectares.
There is a fire advisory in place for the GPFA due to dry conditions. Under the advisory; existing fire permits remain valid, new permits are issued on a case-by-case basis, and campfire are allowed. Any burning without a valid fire permit, except for campfires, are prohibited under the advisory.
