New road work commences in County of Grande Prairie

Multiple projects on County of Grande Prairie roads are set to begin this week.

Starting Monday, June 1, Range Road 32, south of Township Road 720 is closed for 1.6 km as crews remove ditch material and replace culverts as needed.

On Tuesday, June 2, Crews will be completing asphalt repairs along 84 Avenue east of Highway 2 in the Hamlet of Clairmont, with intermittent lane closure along the roadway, as well as Highway 2’s southbound lanes and the southbound lane on 99 street.

And on Wednesday, June 3, crews will be working on Range Road 62 from 162 Avenue to north of the City of Grande Prairie limits with speed reduced and traffic reduced to a single alternating lane.
