Grovedale’s Carter Kettyle has earned a roster spot with the Edmonton Elks.
He is one of four Canadian receivers on the Elks roster.
Kettyle played high school football with St. Joe’s and is one of two former Celtics picked by the Elks in this year’s CFL draft.
The other one, offensive lineman Matthew Ljuden, was released on final cut-down day on Sunday.
The Elks open the season on Saturday with a road game in Ottawa.
