Residential Street Sweeping begins in Grande Prairie June 15

Residential street cleaning begins for Grande Prairie residents June 15.

The City of Grande Prairie will have crews removing sand and other debris left from their winter operations as they operate on a similar schedule, shifting between Week A and Week B neighbourhoods.

“As crews move into residential neighbourhoods, residents can play an important role in helping the program succeed,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton. “Moving vehicles off the street while sweeping is underway gives crews better access to the curb line and helps them complete a more thorough clean-up. It’s a simple way we can work together to keep our neighbourhoods clean and welcoming.”

The street cleaning begins Monday, June 15, at the Hillside, Mountview, and VLA/Montrose neighbourhoods from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
