Chanse Vigen three-for-three at Medicine Hat Stampede

Grande Prairie’s own Chanse Vigen has pulled off a hat trick at the Medicine Hat Stampede.

Vigen captured the 2026 championship for the third year in a row, ending the final round with a time of 1:01.50.

Vigen’s competitors, Logan Gorst and Layne Flad, ended the competition with times of 1:02.07 and 1:03.10, respectively.

It was Flad’s first career Championship Final Heat appearance.
