High Streamflow Advisory issued for rivers near Grande Prairie

High streamflow advisories are in effect for waterways near Grande Prairie.

Advisories are in place for Little Smoky River, Simonette River, and Smoky River from Hells Creek to the confluence of the Wapiti River.

The advisories warn that stream levels are either rising or expected to rise rapidly and may cause minor flooding in low-lying areas, but no major flooding is expected at this time.
