Canada’s women’s volleyball team finished 3-1 in Week 2 of Volleyball Nations League play in Bangkok, Thailand.

Canada beat Poland 3-2 on Sunday. The only loss came to the host side, 3-1 on Saturday.

“After yesterday, I saw a team that entered in the court hungry and they wanted to win so much! This is the victory of a team that wanted to change the mood from yesterday and they did it,” says head coach Giovanni Guidetti in a release from Volleyball Canada.

Canada now has five wins in eight matches through two weeks of VNL play and sits seventh in the standings.

Canada next plays China on July 8 in Hong Kong.
