City of Grande Prairie extending hours for tax payments

City of Grande Prairie residents will be getting extra time to pay their 2026 property taxes in person.

The city is extending its hours of service at City Hall to give residents more chances to make their payments before the Tuesday June 30 deadline.

The building will be open 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday June 26, Monday June 29, and Tuesday, June 30.

Accepted payment methods include cheque, cash, money order, debit and bank drafts, with credit card payments accepted online only.
