Out-of-control wildfire at 3 ha in High Level Forest area

An out-of-control wildfire is currently burning in the High Level Forest Area.

Of 14 lightning-caused fires reported in the area since June 23, HWF057 is at 3 ha in size.

11 fires in total are currently burning, with six listed as being held and four under control.

Alberta Wildfire says the fire danger level for the area is currently listed as very high due to increased temperatures, and outdoor recreationists are advised to use caution.
