Severe thunderstorms forecasted again for Peace region

Another severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the Peace region.

Environment Canada says thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and have the chance to produce large hail, strong wind gusts and potentially tornadoes.

EC also wants to remind residents that when thunder roars, go indoors.

Conditions are expected to improve by tomorrow morning (Saturday, June 27).

At this time, an orange rainfall warning is also in effect for central Alberta and includes the Fox Creek-Whitecourt area.
