By-election announced for Village of Berwyn

The Village of Berwyn has announced an upcoming by-election to fill a vacant seat on the village council.

Council accepted Patrick O’Brien’s resignation during their meeting June 17.

Nomination packages are now being issued as of June 30, with anyone interested in serving their community to file their nomination by August.

If more than one nominee is submitted, the by-election is set for Sept. 21, 2026.
