Temporary service advisory for Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital ED

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital emergency department will be without an on-site physician overnight for four nights next week.

Due to a clinical personnel shortage and an inability to secure temporary coverage, there will be no on-site physician from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. the evenings of Sunday, July 5, Monday, July 6, Tuesday, July 7 and Wednesday, July 8.

Patients are still asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency, as EMS will remain available to reroute callers to surrounding facilities.

Nursing staff will remain on-site in the emergency department providing urgent triage and assessments, and virtual emergency physician coverage may be available for all or part of this service advisory.
