Wapiti Bridge crane recovery underway

The recovery process has begun for the crane that went off the Wapiti bridge and into the river back on June 16.
RCMP did not provide any updates on the driver but are asking boats, drones, and pedestrians to avoid the area, as “it can impede the recovery process.”
They do note that drivers should expect delays while the recovery is ongoing.
