Wolves women’s hockey team hires assistant coach

A veteran coach from Grande Prairie is joining the new Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves women’s hockey team. 

A social media post from the Wolves says Kelly McLeod has been hired as an assistant coach. 

The post says McLeod has over 15 years of coaching experience, a lot of that in women’s hockey. 

He also put in a dozen years on the board of the Peace Country Female Athletic Club.
